My name is Martin Aleksandrov Erinin and I'm a postdoc in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University working with Luc Deike. I obtained my Ph.D. in May of 2020 under the guidance of Jim Duncan in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.

I will be joining the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor starting in January 2025! At Michigan, I will be starting the Erinin Research Group and will be recruiting graduate students. More details will be provided in the coming months.

I am an experimentalist who studies free-surface, multiphase, and transient fluid flows in laboratory-scale experiments using modern optical measurement techniques. You can find out more about my academic work on this website.
